Level: Beginner+/Intermediate

XXS - 7XL

The Kinjarling Dress is a relaxed, pull-on woven dress pattern. There are three lengths, two necklines and two neck finishes. There are two pocket choices and optional waist ties.

The pattern is designed for lightweight woven fabrics with poplin, lawn and linen being ideal choices. The pattern is best suited to those sewing at an intermediate level but there are options available for enthusiastic beginners looking to learn new skills.

If you are looking for a figure-hugging dress that goes in and out with every curve, this isn’t the pattern for you. If you are looking for a floaty, relaxed dress that can be layered for winter or thrown on after a day at the beach then keep reading! The breezy, floaty feel makes it perfect for casual, summer days, or use a special fabric and team it with a smart belt and heels for a gorgeous night out dress!

The Kinjarling Dress goes from XXS – 7XL. The size range for the Kinjarling Dress includes 2 more sizes than other adult W&W patterns. There is a full size chart in the listing photos.

This dress was inspired by the beautiful place I am lucky to call home. This may be my home but it is not my land. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land. Kinjarling is the traditional name for place I live. The choice of name has been discussed with members of the local Noongar community including Carol Pettersen – Menang Elder, Recipient of the Order of Australia and Justice of the Peace. I am extremely grateful for their time and advice.
